• What is the precedent that is set in your case
• What was the state of law in this controversy (the previous precedents)
• Who are all these other involved parties (i.e. amici) (yes, again), why are they involved and what are the dynamics of their involvement
• What will be happening next in your case and how will your decision be implemented
• What are some likely fact patterns for the next case to come to court based on your precedent
• What are the societal norms that are either explicitly or implicitly involved in this case and how do they fit into  the larger history behind this controversy
• Given the outcome of your case, what are the implications for the political system

Your analysis of the case you have chosen is not limited to the above questions.  Each of the possible cases involves a unique set of factors that you will need to examine in depth
